* 1 – 2 tsp. chili powder&lt;br /&gt;
* up to 1 Tbsp. brown sugar (optional)&lt;br /&gt;
* 1⁄4 cup barbeque sauce or 1⁄2 barbeque sauce, 1⁄2 ketchup&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Brown bacon bits in a heavy skillet. Remove from pan. Add ground beef and onion and brown. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Combine all ingredients.&lt;br /&gt;

# Bake in a covered casserole pan in the oven at 325 (300) degrees for one (two)hour(s).&lt;br /&gt;

Substitutions and Notes:&lt;br /&gt;

* Use instant minced onion in place of chopped onion&lt;br /&gt;
* Use 1⁄4 tsp prepared yellow mustard in place of dried mustard.&lt;br /&gt;
* Use a plain barbeque sauce such as Kraft.&lt;br /&gt;
* Add barbeque sauce to taste. You may prefer more.&lt;br /&gt;
* The more ketchup you use, the less brown sugar needed, since ketchup is sweet.&lt;br /&gt;
