1 cup steel-cut oatmeal&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1 cup dried fruit (chopped, dried apples, raisins, whatever you like)&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3 Tbsp. granular sugar subsititue&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1 tsp. ground cinnamon&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1/4 tsp. salt&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
3 1/2 cups water&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1/2 cup fat free or 1% milk&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1 Tbsp. margarine&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Coat crock-pot with margarin. Add remaining ingredients to crock-pot. Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The oatmeal can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated as needed.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
