Crockpot Oatmeal

This is so good, you may want it for dessert.

1 cup steel-cut oatmeal

1 cup dried fruit (chopped, dried apples, raisins, whatever you like)

3 Tbsp. granular sugar subsititue

1 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

1/4 tsp. salt

3 1/2 cups water

1/2 cup fat free or 1% milk

1 Tbsp. margarine

Coat crock-pot with margarin. Add remaining ingredients to crock-pot. Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.

The oatmeal can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated as needed.
