Best to remove from the fridge 20-30 minutes prior to putting in oven otherwise does not seem to cook right.
Base
Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked, mashed sweet potatoes (recommend the orange ones)
- 2 eggs
- teaspoon vanilla
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 butter
Cooking Instructions
Cook and mash potatoes, mix in other ingredients in a buttered dish
Top
Ingredients
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Cooking Instructions
- mix sugar, flour, and nuts then cut in butter (not soft or melted), spread mix on top of potatoes, then cook in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
